Project presentation

L'Hermitage is a rural third place in Autrêches, in the Oise department: a 30-hectare forest estate 1h40 from Paris. It hosts seminars, team-building events and group or family stays, in a large guesthouse, forest houses, chalets and, in summer, a tipi camp. The offer is rich but made of many parts: accommodation, catering, workspaces, activities, logistics. It needed a page of its own, on a dedicated subdomain, speaking to the person in charge of organising the stay.

I designed and developed this landing page with Next.js and Tailwind CSS. The hero sets the scene before any argument: an aerial video of the estate, framed by photos of the venue, and a headline that unfolds phrase by phrase, from "Your stay at L'Hermitage, as a group, as a family" to "see you very soon!!", in 19 phrases that tell the story of the estate. Next comes "Let's build your experience": six building blocks to put the stay together, each backed by a figure from the venue. Over 100 beds, over 16 à la carte catering options, 6 modular workspaces, over 50 group activities, events for over 250 people, transport and logistics on request.

The rest of the page provides the proof: a gallery of seminars and team-building events held on site, the estate in figures (30 hectares, 100+ beds, 1h40 from Paris) and a strip of 38 organisations that have already stayed there. The booking path is deliberately direct: the "Book" button in the header, like each of the six blocks, opens the same contact panel with the venue's contact person, by email or phone, with her opening hours.

On the technical side, the page is prerendered and served statically from Vercel; images go through the Next.js optimisation component and every visual carries a descriptive alt text. The landing page joins the L'Hermitage web ecosystem I have been growing project after project: main website, treasure hunt, site for the ECOLISE European demonstrator.

Objectives

  • Give the group and corporate stays offer a dedicated page, separate from the third place's main website
  • Let visitors feel the estate as soon as they land: forest, accommodation, workspaces
  • Present a many-sided offer as clear building blocks, each backed by a figure from the venue
  • Reassure organisers with pictures of past stays and references
  • Bring every path back to direct contact with the venue's contact person

Results

  • Landing page live on a dedicated subdomain of the L'Hermitage ecosystem
  • Hero with an aerial video of the estate and a headline animated in 19 phrases that tell the story of the place
  • Six building blocks to put a stay together: 100+ beds, 16+ catering options, 6 modular workspaces, 50+ activities, events for 250+ people, transport on request
  • Gallery of seminars held on site and a strip of 38 client references
  • "Book" button and blocks linked to the same contact panel, by email or phone
